Bursary Scheme:

SHoW is pleased to announce our new bursary scheme to support doctoral researchers and early career researchers, offering grants of up to £150.

Applicants should be undertaking academic projects on the history of war but lack access to institutional funds to cover essential research activities for the completion of a PhD or academic publication.

ECRs employed in posts where research is a contractual aspect of their job are not eligible for these bursaries.

Six bursaries are available initially with further awards dependent on donations to the Society.

Applications should be made on this online form.

The closing date is Sunday 28 February.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome by mid-March.

We will apply the UK funding council definition of ECR.

Queries should be directed to Prof. Catherine Fletcher, treasurer@show.org.uk.
